Welcome to St. Cloud, where a small-town charm meets convenience. Here residents can make the most of Central Florida due to its close proximity to major attractions such as theme parks, commercial centers, and recreational activities. In St. Cloud, residents can have the best of both worlds with a hometown atmosphere and fantastic attractions and conveniences just around the corner.

St. Cloud Charm

Nicknamed “The Friendly Soldier City”, St. Cloud, Osceola County, was originally founded in 1909 as a community for Civil War union veterans as they moved into their retirement. The area’s warmer winters and relaxed atmosphere were a welcome change from the colder northern climate. As the years progressed, the city grew as more people came to soak up the sun.

Today, the laid-back town has continued to uphold the friendly atmosphere with sprawling parks and lakeshore views. At the St. Cloud Community Center, neighbors can come together for movie nights, food trucks, and holiday events throughout the year. During the weekdays, the center hosts a variety of activities for family members of all ages.

Incredible Location

The city lies on the southern shore of popular East Lake Tohopekaliga, also known as Lake Toho. The lake is teaming with some of Florida’s most popular catches including trophy bass drawing in fishermen of all ages. Visitors can enjoy the parks, conservation areas, as well as get on the water via the public boat ramps dotted around Lake Toho. Thanks to Florida’s endless summer, residents can get outdoors during any season.

Moving North, Orlando International Airport is minutes away and a stone’s throw away from the neighboring Smart City of Lake Nona. This growing and innovative community is home to various dining and a walkable shopping district named Town Center and home to the United States Tennis Association. With events hosted weekly at Boxi Park, there is plenty to explore on this side of town.

This area is also referred to as Lake Nona Medical City with the campuses UCF College of Medicine, Orlando VA Healthcare and Nemours Children’s Hospital.

To the northwest lies Central Florida’s major attractions including Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Studios Resort and SeaWorld. Head less than an hour east to Cocoa Beach and Kennedy Space Center.
