An Overview of Park Square Homes
In 1984, a group of partners formed Park Square Homes to fill the growing demand for quality housing in the Central Florida area. They saw the area’s increasing demand for custom homes, move-up homes, second homes and vacation housing, as well as the demand for building lots in quality communities. Park Square Homes was founded in an effort to meet these needs of the Central Florida community.
And in the years since that founding, Park Square Homes has consistently filled those housing needs while continuing to grow each year. The company’s success was noted in 2000 by being named one of the five fastest growing companies in Central Florida by Central Florida Business Journal.
Over the years, Park Square Homes has built homes ranging in price from the low $100,000’s to over $1 million. They have built in master planned communities, individual developments, and on self-developed communities. The company’s experience in master planned communities includes Tuskawilla, Metrowest, Southern Dunes, Hunters Creek, Vista Lakes, Reunion Resort and Summerport at Horizon’s West. Individual developments include Avalon Lakes, Markham Meadows, Springs Landing Estates, North Bay, Sand Lake Point, Magnolia Point and Brookestone.
Park Square Homes has developed and built many of their own individual communities. These include Belmere, Emerald Island Resort, Hidden Cove, The Reserve at Bridgewater, Westridge, Sherwood Forest, Terra Verde Resort, Solana, Heritage Bay at Phillips Landing, and the Lake Berkley Resort.
The company also serves in the capacity of developer/builder in many communities in Central Florida. In these communities, Park Square Homes has sold lots to other builders, while also participating as a builder in the community. These developments include Phillips Landing, the Reserve at Bridgewater, Brentwood Club, Bristol Park, Windsor Place, St. Ives and the Estates at Windermere. Additionally, Park Square Homes has developed communities and sold to others upon completion. These communities include South Ridge, Piedmont Park, Montego Bay, College Park, Sierra Vista and Windsor Oaks.
In total, Park Square Homes has developed or built several thousand homes and home-sites in the Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Lake and Polk county areas. For this reason, Park Square Homes continues to have a significant presence in the development and homebuilding industry. The Orlando Business Journal consistently ranks the company as one of the largest privately-held builders in Central Florida. Nationally, the company ranked in the top 100 among other builders by Builder magazine. Park Square Homes was also listed in the among the “2002 Fast Track” building companies by Builder magazine.
The company is very active in the homebuilding community, with participation in the Home Builders Association of Mid-Florida. It has representation in several key committees and councils including, Developer’s Council, Production Homebuilder’s Council, Sales and Marketing Council, and Government Affairs Committees. Park Square Homes also has active participation in the Greater Orlando Chamber of Commerce.
